We're building a new playground! Check out our Play It Forward intiative for details.
xOur greeters help to set up the sanctuary, welcome everyone to worship, and close the sanctuary after the service. Our feeders set up our fellowship with light refreshments after the service.
Our liturgists work with our pastor to read out parts of the service to the larger congregation, including prayers, the first scripture reading, and more. For those looking to get involved during the service, this is a good fit.
We have four ministry teams that help to facilitate church actions and operations: Renewing, Welcoming, Partnering, and Administration & Finance. Getting involved with these teams helps our members connect with what they love about our church.
Our partnering ministry team works closely with local non-profits and organizations in need to provide the church's support wherever we can. We have worked with The Hope House, Seed Theatre, Chattanooga Pride, CALEB, Bridge Refugee Services, and many more.

Here at NPC, we are continually guided by our vision statement, which reminds of the kind of community we are working to create. In our ongoing efforts to live into that vision, we have developed a plan to construct a playground and pavilion on our church grounds, and we're excited to launch a fundraising campaign in service of that goal.

One Time Donation Pledge Support
This is a big deal for us and our community! We are excited to provide our members and those who utilize our building, such as Bridge Refugee Services, with access to a space where adults & chaperones can talk while watching their kids play.
How can you support? You can make a one time donation, pledge your support, or spread the word to your friends, family, and colleagues.
We seek to practice what we preach, and the good news of Jesus Christ calls and renews us to serve God's world both within and far beyond our church walls. In our building each week, the staff of Bridge Refugee Services continues to serve those who have had to flee their home countries, and we are looking forward to ways we can deepen our partnership with them. We also continue to host recovery groups weekly.
We covenant together with several mission efforts in our local community. We help feed hungry college students at the Hope House and we support the teachers and staff of the Newton Child Development Center. We celebrate with our LGBTQ siblings each year for Chattanooga Pride. We regularly collect needed items for our unhoused neighbors through the Regional Outreach Collective. We have a Community Crisis Fund that allows us to help our neighbors with utility bills.
We also respond generously when called upon to donate food, money, and more for those in need. As individuals, we show up in the greater community, affirming our commitment to justice and reconciliation. Our partnerships in turn revitalize our own faith, enriching our experiences and opening our eyes to the world around us as we seek to become God’s vibrant creation.
